First of all I can’t thank you all of the Jiwa crew enough, you all worked so well as a team to make the experience of one of my all time surf trips for sure.
I ate like a King, laughed until my belly hurt, shared great company with some amazing humans and then washed it all away with some good ales. I really loved the boat and the way she sailed too.
Thanks does not express my appreciation. looking forward to coming on board again soon .

Where do i start? how about “All time!” We landed on the mighty “JIWA” , The boat exceeded all of our expectations, the trip and waves were all time. You made our stay “Sensational”.
Thanks, Geoff
There really is nothing better than sailing through uncharted waters and past untouched islands, surfing great breaks with just us on the waves. This trip was brilliant and I’m already locking in next year. Thanks Kwab and the guys. Surfing in style!

Thanks for the best surf trip that I have ever had the privilege to go on. Aah for a good surf and a bintang on the decks of the Jiwa! Hope all goes well on the good ship Jiwa.
Wow what can we say – it exceeded our wildest dreams with many of the lads who have been on 3-4 other boat trips in the Ments & Maldives calling it the best experience out of the lot.
A combination of the character of the boat itself – the awesome food (mainly indo which was what we wanted – but they are prepared to do whatever guests want) provided by cookie & Eugene (who trained as a chef in Rick Steins kitchen) and Eugene’s knowledge and froth factor in the water – he went over and above his duties as a surf guide showing us lineup marks at spots + happy to help out with technique tips as well – (he absolutely rips as well).
This boat is a true gem and I don’t think the photos on the website do it justice – I have some great photos of the boat that I would be happy to send you.
Put this all together in the beautiful remote setting of the Banyaks which Eugene got spot on with his knowledge of the breaks and conditions, meant we scored uncrowded head high + surf for the entire trip.
If you have any clients looking for a great surfing adventure in this area, then the Jiwa is for them – Kwab and the guys have also done plenty of time in the Ments so don’t have Any doubts about recommending them – people will be blown away by how good it is.

Back from an epic trip to the Banyaks on the Jiwa. Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks for getting us on this boat. As you know, we were left high and dry and a years planning, dreaming and scheming for the leave pass gone at the press of the send button of an email. But thanks to Nick Pearse and your organisation we landed on the Jiwa.
This boat is a million miles from the sanitised experience of the standard boat. As some of the guys have said in other emails, the total experience laid on by Kwab, Eug and the rest of the crew got us some amazing waves, laid on some beautiful local food and plenty of laughs floating around the edge of pristine islands. The Jiwa guys were genuinely up for making everything about the trip amazing. I would have no hesitation recommending the boat to anyone regardless of age or surfing experience.
Regards Peter Buckley (Manly)
Hi there, this will probably be the first of a number of emails you will receive from the guests on the Jiwa trip to Banyaks in June this year. We had a fantastic trip and wanted to thank you guys for putting us in contact with Kwab, Eugene and the crew of Jiwa. Aside from getting great waves the trip was made a success by other factors such as: the boat itself is really comfortable, the crew are really well organized and experienced, Eugene the surf guide knows where to go and even where to sit in the line-up (and how to rip the bag out of it), Kwab coordinating the whole thing plus getting heaps of great photos and still managing to join us for a surf most days while always looking relaxed, the food is outstanding (combination of Eugene’s professional experience in restaurant kitchens such as with Rick Stein and local indo food specials from “cookie”).
Cheers and thanks again, John Coffey
To Sean of world surfaris. Happy to fully endorse this as an outstanding boat charter: any prospective clients may contact me for a (wonderful) reference We are all still buzzing.
Thanks Raf Ghabrial
Yep, seconding everything said so far, the fantastic pirate ship Jiwa was a great start, but leverage that with the enthusiasm of Kwab and Eug, fantastic food and of course the natural gems of the Banyaks = a magic trip. Thanks for organising in the blink of an eye Sean and Nick.

3 sheets to the wind. All fun aboard the good ship JIWA. Thanks Eugene for the delightful fuel each day and for reminding us of the reason we are here; for leading from the front and your boundless enthusiasm. For Chris who’s positive words and actions made me try a littler harder. And the crew who graciously kept the geriatric circus moving forward. Thank you!
